All you have to do is click and drag any midi file into the program. It will automatically convert it into 8-bit for you. To save the file click, “Authoring” at the top. That’s it. Have fun!

Yanawaraba  is made up of two artists, Ishigaki Yuu and Aizatou Rio, who incorporate the ocarina, guitar, shamisen, and two-part harmonies into their delightful music.

Focalink Double Alto C

For some reason, I’ve recently fallen in love with Focalink ocarinas. They require low breath pressure, have great tone, and have a simple design.

My favorite thing about the Double Alto C is its thin mouth piece, which makes switching chambers much easier.

For those of you with double or triple ocarinas, you know what a pain it is sometimes and how frustrating it can get.

Trust me, this ocarina will make you want to run out your front door and jump for joy!! …At least that’s what it made me want to do.

Focalink Soprano C Blue Chrome

The next ocarina that makes very excited is the new, Focalink Soprano G Blue Chrome.

It’s a beautiful ocarina and I just fell in love with it immediately after watching this video:

It was an interesting find because you tend to wonder what the different parts are called or if they even have names. Apparently they do.

Warning: Some of the names might be a bit different from the originals because it’s an English translation.

Anyway, here are the pictures I took of them. The ocarina pancake may look a little deformed. Trust me, it’s not that easy to get an inanimate substance to obey your commands! XD

The shape of the ocarina reminds me of the Sweet Potato Ocarina by Daryn Songbird.

Pancake Recipe:

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon white sugar
• 1 1/4 cups milk
• 1 egg
• 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.

I would recommend putting blueberries, bananas, or chocolate chips in the pancakes. I added blueberries to mine.
